Pietraventosa Allegoria Rosso 2021

Pulled from a meticulous selection of Primitivo in the high-altitude Gioia del Colle, the 'Allegoria' is a breath of freshness: vibrant and tense, offering surprising hints of minerality from an area not known for its acidity nor a spritely, savory backbone. Raised entirely in steel, it's still Primitivo-juicy with subtle notes of licorice, dark berries, and flowers, followed by a balsamic, salty finish. Balanced, elegant, and fresh.
