This fantastic fully handcoloured map of England, Wales and Scotland was created by master mapmaker William Faden, geographer to His Majesty the King, in 1801.
In a nice touch, this map includes all the roads between principal market towns and the distances between them. The map delineates between roads, mail coach roads and canals.
This map looks beautiful at all sizes, from 12x16 inches (30x40cm) to 18x24 inches (45x60cm) and beyond. It looks truly amazing at larger sizes; I can print this one up to 70 inches (180cm) tall. The unframed 24x30 inch map has white edges that can easily be snipped off (or they may help you with framing!) Please get in touch if you're looking for larger, customised or different framing options.

Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame. We use super-clear acrylic (perspex/acrylite) in our frames - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.
