Officially Licensed USMC VMA(AW)-242 Bats Patch

Officially Licensed USMC VMA(AW)-242 Bats Patch — Marine All-Weather Attack Squadron A-6 Intruder Embroidered Patch

The Bats — VMA(AW)-242 flying in the dark with the A-6 Intruder.

VMA(AW)-242 "Bats" carried the all-weather attack designation when operating the A-6E Intruder, and the Bats nickname perfectly suited a squadron whose primary mission was striking targets at night and in weather that kept other aircraft on the ground. The A-6 Intruder's advanced navigation and bombing systems allowed the Bats to deliver ordnance with precision in zero-visibility conditions, making them one of the Marine Corps' most lethal night-attack assets.

Perfect For:
VMA(AW)-242 Bats veterans, A-6E Intruder night-attack crews, Marine all-weather attack aviators, and USMC attack squadron lineage patch collectors.

Bats. Night attack. VMA(AW)-242.
