Officially Licensed HMT-303 Atlas Squadron Patch

Officially Licensed HMT-303 Atlas Squadron Patch — USMC Marine Helicopter Training Squadron Embroidered Patch

Atlas — carrying the weight of Marine helicopter training on his shoulders.

HMT-303 "Atlas" was a Marine helicopter training squadron based at MCAS Camp Pendleton that trained AH-1 Cobra and UH-1 Huey pilots for the fleet. The Atlas name reflected the squadron's role as the foundation of Marine light and attack helicopter aviation — every Cobra and Huey pilot passed through Atlas before reporting to their fleet HMLA squadron. HMT-303 later redesignated as HMLAT-303, continuing the Atlas training mission with the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom.

Perfect For:
HMT-303 and HMLAT-303 Atlas alumni, Marine light attack helicopter training graduates, Skid Kid FRS instructors, and USMC training squadron patch collectors.
