Official HMM-362 Snoopy Routine Medevac

Official HMM-362 Snoopy Routine Medevac Patch — USMC Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Vietnam Medevac Embroidered Patch

Snoopy's routine medevac — there was nothing routine about flying into a hot LZ to pick up wounded Marines.

The "Snoopy Routine Medevac" patch from HMM-362 references the Vietnam-era practice of using the Peanuts cartoon character Snoopy on unit morale items. The "routine medevac" designation was the radio call for a non-urgent medical evacuation, but in Vietnam, even routine medevacs could turn deadly in seconds as helicopters became targets the moment they entered a landing zone. HMM-362 crews flew medevac missions across their Vietnam deployments, and this patch combines dark humor with the reality of combat helicopter operations.

Perfect For:
HMM-362 Vietnam veterans, CH-46 and UH-34 medevac crews, Marine helicopter combat veterans, Vietnam-era morale patch collectors, and USMC aviation humor enthusiasts.

Snoopy. Routine medevac. Nothing routine about it.
