De Conciliis Donnaluna Aglianico 2019

There is a nimble balance between the dark, meaty fruit indicative of the grape, and the brightness and levity that comes from DeConcilis’ approach to winemaking. A nose of dark plum, blackberry, soy sauce and sweet spices are focused by a harmonious acidity that provides noteworthy clarity and cut to palate that treads a similar profile to the nose. A dusty, mineral edge and supreme aromatic lift lend the Donnaluna an air of something well behind its humble price tag.
