Tallis & Co in 1851, this is one of the finest and most detailed historic maps of the Lake District. This beautiful region of England used to be split between Cumberland (Cumbria), Westmorland (which no longer exists) and Lancashire. Today it's situated just in Cumbria in the northwest of England.

Around the edges of the map are detailed engravings of beautiful vistas from around Lakeland, including a couple of Windermere, Lancaster Castle, Keswick and Carlisle.

This map looks great at all sizes: 12x16 inches (30x40cm), 16x20 inches (40x50cm), 18x24 inches (45x60cm) and 24x36 (60x90cm) but it looks even better when printed large.

I can create beautiful, large prints of this map up to 52x70 inches (130x180cm).
